Nodding and foot-tapping to the banging beats of rock;
Swaying to the sweet rhythm of jazzy crooner’s tunes;
Mellow dramatic songs tugging at one’s heartstrings,
These are just some of the influences music brings.
Music’s that companion you can’t journey without—
Yer melodic, talkative friend you won’t get tired about.
It’s the kind of drug no one can ever resist,
The pain reliever one’s willing to overdose with.
Music is the hushing peace out of all the noise—
Soothing and speaking to the hearts with its meaningful voice.
But, most importantly, music’s a security blanket—
When the soul embraces the songs, the songs embrace the soul.
When the soul embraces the songs, the songs embrace the soul.
