Locked

Writer: Alyssandra GironAlyssandra Giron

A 100-word short story.

With the wind blowing my hair, I hopped into my car to grab a cup of warm cappuccino on a chilly January night. Only a few vehicles were on the street, so I was able to reach the coffee shop near a gas station fast. After I’ve parked my car, I unbuckled my seatbelt. As I was about to open the car door, I recognized the person sitting alone on the table seat in front of my car. Then suddenly, our eyes locked, and so was I — locked in this unrequited love. And I can’t seem to find the key.

Hello there! I know you're thinking that this might be another short story that I wrote as a requirement in Creative Writing. But... No hehe. I actually enjoyed writing those short stories and poems that's why I decided to continue writing those kinds of literary pieces. This will also be my way of expressing my thoughts, ideas, and feelings in a creative way. Hopefully, you'll continue supporting me by leaving a comment or two so that I can know your criticisms and thoughts about my works. You can also chat me through the live chat. I'd love to hear your messages! Padayon!

- Love, Aly ♥

So, today's February 14 and I would like to greet you all a Happy Valentine's Day! Taken, heartbroken, or single — we should all spread love on this day because Valentine's Day is not just for couples. It can also be a day to show your family, friends, and other people you treasure how much you love them. You can also give yourself a 'me' time as a form of self-love, which I regard as a very important kind of love. So, go, show your brightest smile, and shower people with love, okay?

You may also share your unforgettable Valentine's Day experiences on the comment section. I'd love to read your stories!
