A 100-word short story.

Men became even greedier. With mercenary aims, they relentlessly cut down trees in the mountain range’s forest. One day, news about an approaching typhoon was reported. People panicked as they saw most of the trees gone. What would sip the waters? It was too late. The sky’s getting gloomy, so everybody went inside their homes and anxiously prepared for the storm. As the wind started to whistle, they closed their eyes and prayed. They waited for the heavy rain, yet there was only a little. Confused, they gazed through their windows and saw the Sierra Madre fighting their raging enemy.
